Cacao Goddess Bites

These little cacao goddess bites are one of my favorite healthy treats. They’re super nutrient dense, packed with omega 3’s, fiber and protein and of course delicious!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup soft pitted dates

  • 3 tbsp hemp hearts

  • 3 tsp ground flaxseed

  • 2 tbsp shredded coconut

  • 1/4 cup walnuts (optional for extra omega 3’s)

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

  • 3 tbsp unsweetened cacao powder

  • pinch of sea salt

  • 1 tsp water (to thin if needed)

  • 1 tbsp Maca powder (optional)

Directions: add only the dates into a food processor and process until a ball forms. Add the rest of the ingredients and process until fully combined adding a little bit of water if the mixture is too dry or crumbly. Once the mixture is done, roll pieces of the mixture into small balls. Take the cacao balls and roll them in raw cacao powder and place them in a bowl or plate. Freeze the chocolate bites until set (15-20 minute) and enjoy!

Note: I like to keep mine stored in the freezer so they stay firm.
